I hear the cake was a hit and and I quote " oh so yummy" The 'buggy" was strawberry cake with vanilla filling and the wheels were yellow cake with vanilla filling.

Love at first bite

AYKM? Who doesnt love warm brownies and ice cold milk.

I dont think I have ever confessed my love of the triple chocolate fudge brownie..especially the chewing corner piece. Touch and you will lose a finger. Whats that? The recipe? Duncan Hines. Follow the instructions on the box. Bake and enjoy. Dont forget the milk.

Upcoming cakes

Be sure to check out the baby carriage and the safari theme baby shower cake in the next few cakes. I am SO excited. The baby carriage is on of my favorites.

let there be cake

Cupcakes, that is. These are/were only for my DH. The poor guy sit here thru cake after cake after cake and do you think he gets any cake? Nope. So of course I finally felt bad for him and made him his very own batch of strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

Better late than never...right?

Here is the cake I made for my mom for Easter. She just so happen to give up sweets for Lent and my dad asked me to make a cake for her. What a better way than to decorate it as an Easter Basket. It is a Devil Foods Chocolate cake with Coconut pecan filling. Y-U-M!! I wish I had a picture of the inside. Speaking of the inside, the little plastic eggs are filled with Hershey Dark Chocolate eggs. Nothing says Happy Easter like a chocolate Coma.

I hope she enjoyed it.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Sponge Bob Square Pants!

You don't really get the full affect of this cake without the figurines. I wasnt able to close the box with SBSP and Patrick on the top....alas, you get the idea.

This is a full sheet cake. Half yellow and the other half marble. I frosted it in white frosting and sprayed it blue. The bottomis colored sugar. I think it took about 4 hours to complete. So fun!

The Construction worker

I had so much fun with this cake. It was for Brit's brothers big 1-8. He is a student at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I used orange food coloring to color the cake, which was totally cool. All in all, I think it took 2 hours to decorate this cake.

My First Post

Nothing fancy. Just wanted to get my toes wet.
I will upload some pictures tonight of the cakes I made over the weekend.
